Hilary Meredith-Beckham speaks at UK’s first dedicated military history festival

Hilary Meredith-Beckham was a guest speaker at the UK's first dedicated military history festival this weekend.

The Hereford Military History Festival took place from 26 - 28 September 2025 at a range of venues throughout the historic city.

The festival brought together acclaimed authors, historians and military experts for 3 days of engaging talks and insightful discussions. Focusing on military literature, memoirs,

historical analysis, and war writing, it offered a rare opportunity to hear from the leading voices in the field.

Other speakers over the course of the festival included Sir Anthony Beever, Kate Adie, Ben Macintyre, Tessa Dunlop, Phillip Sands and Damian Lewis.
