Hilary Meredith Solicitors fully supports Injury Awareness Week 2026, a national campaign organised by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) to highlight the impact of injuries caused by negligence.

Running from 22–26 June, this year's campaign focuses on the "ripple effect" of injury, recognising that the consequences of a serious injury often extend well beyond the individual involved. Families, friends, carers and colleagues can all face significant emotional, practical and financial challenges in the aftermath.
With decades of experience representing injured people, including serving military personnel, veterans and their families, Hilary Meredith Solicitors has seen first-hand how a serious injury can affect every aspect of a person's life and the lives of those around them.
Dianne Yates, Director at Hilary Meredith Solicitors, said:
"Nobody expects their life to change because of an injury that could and should have been prevented. Every year, people suffer serious injuries as a result of road traffic collisions, workplace accidents, medical negligence and other avoidable incidents. Injury Awareness Week shines a light not only on the challenges faced by injured people, but also on the wider impact on families, carers and support networks who are often affected too. At Hilary Meredith Solicitors, we are committed to supporting everyone affected by the long-term effects of serious injury."
