Non-Freezing Cold Injuries - know your legal rights

Military service personnel can often face the risk of Non-Freezing Cold Injuries (NFCI’s) during exercises, tours and operations when exposed to severe weather conditions.

Regretfully, NFCI’s can have serious consequences for their health and their careers. It is therefore imperative that the Ministry of Defence provide proper training, equipment, and support to minimise the effect of cold weather on service personnel in particular to prevent them sustaining NFCI’s.

Simon Quinn, Partner & Head of Military at Hilary Meredith Solicitors has previously achieved one of the highest known NFCI settlements in his reported case of Soldier D -v- Ministry of Defence which he successfully settled for over £800K (Gross).

If you have sustained a NFCI as a result of your service with the MoD, then don’t delay, contact Hilary Meredith Solicitors today!
